LAMB NAMED TO NATIONAL BOARD 

Tracey Glass Lamb, Principal of North Bullitt High School, has been elected by Region 3 State Coordinators to represent them over the next four-year term as a Board of Director of National Association of Secondary School Principals. Region 3 is made up of the states of: District of Columbia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Ms. Lamb will be filling the vacancy as a Diversity representative. She will be representing the views of the Region 3 contingency and lobbying with legislators on issues that include, but are not limited to: (1) the Reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act; (2) Breaking Ranks in both Middle and High Schools; (3) Highly Effective Principal position statement; (4) the achievement gap position; and (5) Internet Safety in Middle Level and High Schools.

Ms. Lamb is currently the President of the Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals. She is a life-long resident of Kentucky. She has served in a principal capacity since 1999 in Bourbon, Fayette, and Grant counties in elementary, middle and high schools. She is the former President of the Northern Kentucky Association of School Administrators and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Association of School Administrators. She also continues to serve as the Secretary of the Northern Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals.
